Early Help Worker Start Date:  October or sooner Contract: Full Time Location:  L31 area Salary:  dependent upon experience About the Role: As an Early Help Worker, you will play a crucial role in identifying and supporting children and families who may be experiencing difficulties. Your responsibilities will include: Working closely with pupils, parents, and carers to provide practical support and guidance. Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families, and developing tailored support plans. Coordinating with external agencies, such as social services and health professionals, to ensure families receive the help they need. Offering advice on parenting, education, and emotional well-being, and helping families access relevant services. Delivering group sessions or workshops to support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development. Maintaining accurate records and monitoring the progress of children and families receiving support. The Successful Candidate Will: Have experience in a similar role, such as family support, social work, or community work, ideally within an educational setting. Hold a relevant qualification in social care, counselling, or a related field (desirable). Be empathetic, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children and families. Have strong communication and organisational skills. Be confident in working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
