We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design Engineer specialising in Chassis Systems to join our innovative team.  Key Responsibilities Chassis System Design and Development: Take the lead in the design and development of chassis systems, focusing on innovation and performance. Work on components such as suspension, steering, brakes, and structural elements to achieve superior vehicle dynamics, safety, and reliability. Employ cutting-edge engineering tools and methodologies to push the boundaries of what’s possible in chassis design. Vehicle Integration: Collaborate closely with teams across aerodynamics, powertrain, and electronics to ensure the chassis systems integrate seamlessly within the vehicle’s overall architecture. Contribute to a holistic vehicle design philosophy that prioritizes optimal performance and driver experience. Innovation in Chassis Engineering: Focus on key aspects of chassis design, including the use of advanced materials, manufacturing techniques, and innovative design solutions. Lead efforts to enhance the chassis systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, weight efficiency, and durability. Testing, Validation, and Continuous Improvement: Develop rigorous testing and validation protocols for chassis systems, analysing results to drive continuous improvement. Ensure that designs meet stringent performance criteria and make data-driven modifications to achieve desired outcomes. Quality and Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of quality in all aspects of chassis design and development. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, contributing to comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, testing reports, and design reviews. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field Experience: Proven experience in chassis design and development within the automotive industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering design tools, such as CAD and FEA. Hands-on experience with chassis testing and validation is advantageous.
