Residential Support Worker

Location: Various Homes in Hertfordshire

Pay: £10.19 to £13.55

Hours of work: Days shifts/Waking Nights

At Guidant Global, we are a leading Recruitment Partner for various Local Authorities, providing a high caliber of agency staff. We are interested in hearing from Residential Care Support Workers who want to join our team and assist with day-to-day supportfor Service Users within Hertfordshire County Council Residential and Supported Living Units.

The support required takes into account the varying needs of people including mild to severe learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, sensory impairments, dysphagia, epilepsy, and the beginnings of age-related conditions, particularly dementia.

Your aim will be to assist/support people to learn or maintain daily living skills to enable independence as far as possible.

• N.B. We provide services to the general public, customers, and service users; therefore you will be able to communicate fluently in the English language both verbally and in writing._

A typical shift will include:

• Following care plans, routines, guidelines, risk assessments, and Behaviour Management Plans :

• Personal care, Moving & Handling, Hoisting :

• Assisting with meals :

• Social interaction :

• Cleaning :

• Paperwork

Training and annual refresher training will be provided and paid for by Guidant Global.
