The Role of the Plant Operative :
- As a Plant Operative, you’ll support the plant Manager with the running of a busy Asphalt plant. Ensuring health and safety is prioritized whilst ensuring the production needs of the customers are met.
- You’ll also be tasked with the day-to-day operations of the weighbridge and operation of the loading shovel.
- A key part of your role as a Plant Operative is to comply with all the companies Health, Safety & Environment systems.
- In addition, you’ll be operating the coating plant
- producing asphalt in accordance with technical quality standards.
- General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site are a vital part of this Plant Operative role, to ensure everyone’s safety.
- The Plant Operative will be based at the companies Lincoln plant.
Benefits of the Plant Operative :
- £27k-£29k Basic Salary
- 27.5 days + Bank Holidays

The Ideal Person for the Plant Operative :
- Experience working in a coating or similar production environment preferred.
- Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work within an extremely busy team environment.
- Good communication skills and teamwork are required.
- A good understanding of Industry Health, Safety and Environmental standard.
- Will be looking for a permanently employed position with a market leader.
