Job description Are you looking for a long-term teaching role for September 2024? Prospero Teaching is working with a primary school in Nantwich, that requires a Year 6 Teacher.You will have full class responsibility but will work in partnership with the class teacher in the parallel class, as well as the rest of the staff team in school, who are welcoming and helpful. You will need to have good curriculum knowledge, effective behaviour management skills and a positive, encouraging teaching style. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a dynamic staff team, and to have the potential to join the school on a permanent basis. Initially this role is for the next 2 full terms, but there is a good chance for a permanent position following a successful first year.Contract/Position Details: Location – NantwichPosition – Year 6 TeacherType of work – Class teaching, planning, assessmentStart date – September 2024Likely Duration – OngoingContract type – Supply position with the potential of permanent contractRate of pay – £130 – £220 per day depending on experience Experience, Training and Qualifications:It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK primary school. You will need to have taught in Key Stage 2 and have good knowledge of expected attainment and progress through the KS2 year groups. You will also need to have up to date Safeguarding training. You can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.To be eligible for any role with Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £Provide professional references which cover the last two full years
