Key Responsibilities :

  • Supporting the People Service Manager and HRBP with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
  • Working as a member of the People Services team maintaining administrative processes and procedures attending meetings and note taking as requested.
  • Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation’s People Strategy
  • Provide accurate and timely information to Managers in terms of employee relation matters
  • Coordinate the resourcing process to include advertising vacancies using the most effective media - internally, parent companies, agencies, on-line and externally. Act as a focal point for general resourcing activities/queries.
  • Produce documentation such as starter packs, standard letters, reports, contracts, presentations as requested in line with processes and standards
  • Assist with Occupational Health and Wellbeing activities as requested.
  • Acting as a focal point for receiving incoming enquiries/mail and either handling or signposting as appropriate.
  • Inputting information into HR database to ensure its currency and carrying out HR filing efficiently and effectively

Qualities and Skills :

  • Organisational and administrative skills
  • Proven work experience as an HR Advisor
  • Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff
  • Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
  • Driven and determined
  • Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly

Qualifications :

  • CIPD level 3/CIPD level 5 (or working towards)

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : Up to £36,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
