Desktop Support Engineer

Your new role:


In your new role as a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing 1st & 2nd Line support to all customers, ensuring the highest level of customer service is being delivered. You will be working to ITIL principles, ensuring that all IT policies and procedures are maintained, whilst proactively reviewing and evaluating emerging trends from a client's perspective, to maintain the current and future needs of the business.


You will be expected to deliver the highest level of customer service, with at least 4 years experience in a customer facing role, ideally technology related. You will be working with a range of customers on a day-to-day basis so you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to provide the best service to your customers. You will be working in a team and independently, so you need to be able to use your initiative and work without supervision. Having great problem solving and methodical approaches will be key in your new role.


The Desktop Support Technician role is for a delivery-focused, disciplined, flexible individual who has good knowledge of MS Windows (Ideally workplace specific), understanding of Windows Server, MS Exchange and AD (Users and Computers), and a good working knowledge and support of wireless technologies.
