Experienced Dental Therapist

We are a modern 4 surgery fully equipped solely private dental practice located in the centre of Formby Village offering all types of general dentistry as well as cosmetic braces, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, endodontics and implants.

We provide high quality private dentistry for both paying patients and also patients on our membership plan which provides regular exam and hygiene care.

We wish to recruit a fully qualified and experienced dental therapist on a self employed basis to take over from an existing hygienist who is relocating in September

To be considered you must be a motivated and professional individual who is an excellent communicator wanting to do the best for their patients. You will need to have demonstrable experience of working within the full scope of therapy. Experience of working in private practice is also essential

We are looking for availability on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays with the option of alternate Fridays too.

  • Immediate 1 + day per week, with the view to potentially increasing days/hours over time.
  • The practice currently consists of 3 dentists, one existing therapist, an implantologist and an endodontist.
  • Ongoing committment to regular marketing to attract new patients
  • Full staff support including two treatment co-ordinators to manage follow up treatment plans and conversion of new patients

Job Types : Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Flexible days and hours available Tuesdays, Thursday and alternate Fridays. Willing to consider late nights too.

Experience :

  • Therapy: 2 years preferred, 1 year minimum

Education : GDC registered in Therapy

Must have the right to work in the UK
