Within the Environment Department, we offer a wide range of services to help make the borough an attractive place, one that is safe, clean and green and one in which our residents take pride.   This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to lead LBHF through its investment in electrical charging infrastructure. Working in the Climate Change and Transport Directorate, alongside Transport, Highways and Climate colleagues to deliver the climate objectives, coordinating the bid for the sub-region and five other local authorities. The successful post holder will have the opportunity to influence the development of EV charging in the area, liaising closely with government bodies, and negotiating the best outcomes for the partnership.    As a focused and high performing manager, experienced in preparing and delivering complex bids, the programme lead will take forward the partnership’s LEVI bid application, with an awareness of the necessary regulatory and commercial requirements and maintain financial control of related projects, including procurement activity relating to securing the right contractors to work with us.    You will need to be able to work alongside a range of external partners from London Councils, Energy Savings Trust, and all partner boroughs. You will also coordinate any EV charge point work for our internal delivery teams, making sure their outputs progress policy objectives.    Our mission is to be the best council.
