Early Years Supervisor

We are looking for passionate Level 3 Early Years professionals, who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to our children.

We are currently looking for an Early Years Supervisor to join our family on a permanent, full time basis in our day nursery based in Hillsborough.

As an Early Years Supervisor in our nursery, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to our children, whilst ensuring your team are doing the same. You will work with our existing team to create engaging activities that promote learning and development for these children.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) :

• To plan and implement age-appropriate activities for the children to help them meet their individual needs
• To provide a supportive, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in your care
• To ensure the environment is kept safe and clean throughout the day
• To create and build positive relationships with the children, their families and all colleagues
• To observe and assess the children’s progress and keep accurate records of this through our In The Moment approach
• To support children’s personal, social and emotional development
• To be confident in communicating with parents and feeding back when there are ever any concerns
• To create a positive working environment for all staff in your team and the nursery, whilst supporting the deputy managers and managers
• To ensure compliance with all safeguarding procedures at all times

Job Requirements :

• Applicants must have a enthusiasm and passion for working with children, and a desire to help children develop and become the best version of themselves they can be
• Applicants must have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years - Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent)
• Applicants should have at least 2 years experience working in an early years setting with children aged 0-4 years, preferably with 6 months experience working as a room supervisor or leader
• Applicants must hold a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate or be willing to complete one upon starting the job
• Applicants must be willing to attend and complete all essential training courses
• Applicants should have a good knowledge of what is entailed when working with young children
• Applicants must be able to work well as a part of a team

Pay: £11.90 per hour
