Duties : Main Duties

  • Strives to achieve performance standards for timeliness and accuracy of orders and invoicing.
  • Processes all incoming sales orders from customers and sales representatives accurately and efficiently.
  • Reviews back-order data to determine customer service outputs.
  • Follows the returns process through to refund or exchange.
  • Daily contact with customers, resolving issues and handling escalated queries.
  • Supports the delivery process and liaising between logistics, sales and warehouse departments.
  • Maintains strong customer relationships through regular follow-up calls.
  • Liaises with couriers and is committed to excellence in all client relationships.
  • Sales order book management (enabling accurate visibility of order book/due dates).

Essential requirements :

  • To have proven experience in a Customer Service role,
  • To be able to prioritise your own workload and work under your own initiative.
  • To be adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and processes.
  • To be able to work in a fast-paced varied environment and be able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary :

  • £12.50 per hour

Hours :

  • Monday - Thursday 8.45 - 17.00 and Friday 08.45 - 15.45 (half an hour unpaid lunch on each day).

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
