Surveying Project Manager

We are currently partnering with a leading North Somerset based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Surveying Project Manager to join their growing maintenance team on a permanent basis.Our client is the proud provider of 6,500 affordable and sustainable properties to over 15,000 tenants and they are looking to expand their Asset Department.This is a full-time position with a salary of £46,856.00 per annumand the start date is subject to notice.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Identifying the root cause of Damp and Mould, providing specifications for remedial works moving forwardSurveying and Identifying building defects through, conducting the correct building pathology & testingCompleting detailed reports and specification writing, for example to support section 20 notices and Damp and Mould /disrepair claimsProject Managing to include preparation of plans, prebuild meeting construction phase oversight, maintaining value for money and budget control throughout the projectCarrying out post work quality inspections ensuring the works are too standard, fit for purpose and value for moneyRequirements:A qualification such as HNC/HND/BSC or a RIC’s accreditation courseA full driving license Experience in Health and Safety/ Identifying of Asbestos Rewards and Benefits:Agile working (flexibility on hours/start time)33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Your ‘Work Anniversary’ off workAn excellent pensionWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday – Friday, Flexible Daily Hours Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
