Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a well established client west of Newcastle who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working in a busy team, your main duties will include:

  • Credit Control
  • Allocating incoming funds to the correct GBP/EUR/USD accounts
  • Sales finance postings and reconciliations
  • Processing Sales and Purchase Invoices
  • Management of sales and purchase ledgers
  • Dealing with customer enquires
  • Dealing with supplier invoices
  • Dealing with supplier / customer statements
  • Managing the credit control inbox
  • Handling supplier queries and calls
  • Managing sales and purchase returns/credits
  • Ad hoc duties to support the financial controller

You will have:

  • Previous experience within transactional finance
  • Credit control
  • MS Office literate, especially Excel
  • Experience with Sage 200 preferred but not essential
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator
  • Positive and professional attitude.
