We're seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join us as a staff member at our site in Teesside. It's a critical role for us and will have indirect people management responsibility while applying engineering expertise within controls & instrumentation projects.


Responsibilities

  • This role will be both desk based and hands-on plant based
  • Managing various types of projects including Installation, Modifications
  • Planning, root cause analysis, continuous improvements,
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Working with contractors and OEM suppliers, including - work permits, RAMS, etc.
  • Technical lead - Troubleshooting technical problems focusing on root cause analysis.
  • Analysing data to compile engineering reports.
  • Improving OEE & Engineering downtime
  • Support for shutdowns, planned and unplanned.
  • On Call support.



Who we are seeking

  • HNC/HND or Degree qualified
  • Extensive Industrial Plant / Process Industry experience
  • Experience with Full Industrial Process Control Instrumentation Systems (Pressure, Level, Flow and Temperature)
  • Experience working with Delta V (in particular), Modbus, CIO, Charms.SIS
  • Working with maintenance systems (CMMS) - SAP, MAXIMO
  • Commissioning experience on a large plant.
