HR Business Partner

Belfast - Hybrid Working (2/3 days in office)

This role is commercially focused, with a predominantly operational viewpoint with the ability to deliver hands on HR solutions. It will provide HR support to the business across all levels including working with management and employees to deliver and implementprocess and policy. This is an experienced role responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the HR function reporting directly to the HR Manager.

The HRBP is responsible for ensuring UK legislation is considered and interpreted to fit the environment, from both a process, procedural and policy perspective. The role will partner with their relevant stakeholders, expected to have understanding of thebusiness. The HRBP will be expected to provide coaching and advice to senior managers to ensure delivery of their business area through performance of their people.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Lead and coordinate action planning on the full range of HR activities for their relevant business area(s), including but not limited to Talent & Development, Reward & Policy to develop delivery plans (Portsmouth only)
  • Advise on, support and coordinate all organizational restructuring processes for their relevant business area(s)
  • Develop and maintain trusting and effective partnerships with managers, challenging their thinking and working closely with them to co-develop solutions to meet their current and future business needs (all sites)
  • Work with management to build a high-performance culture and coach managers on strategies for nurturing their talent, development of their people and tackling team and individual performance issues (all sites)
  • Support the delivery of plans to build high employee engagement for their business area(s), I ncluding delivery of engagement surveys and the support of Staff Hubs
  • Diagnose and analyse people issues, providing objective challenge and engaging the appropriate methods to ensure resolution (all sites)
  • Support managers and the business on all Employee Relations in line with company policy and legislation, minimising risk to the business (all sites)
  • Take the lead on smaller projects and coordinate the wider HR team to deliver and meet necessary deadlines

Experience :

  • Experienced/Senior HR professional with a “can do” attitude
  • Commercially minded approach to HR
  • CIPD professional
  • Experience in analysing data and producing reports
  • Previous experience with writing and delivering training material

Working Hours

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Salary

£37,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
