Job DescriptionContracts Manager – Commercial Glazing SystemsJob Title: Contracts Manager – Commercial Glazing SystemsJob reference Number: 340841-9023-24247Industry Sector: Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Installations Manager, , Fenestration, Commercial Glazing, Aluminium Windows, Windows, Doors, Aluminium Doors, Facades, Architectural Glazing, Structural Glazing, Frameless Glazing, Building Envelope, Curtain Walling, Fire Rated Screens, Fire Rated Glazing, Rooflights, GlazingLocation: Commutable to RadstockRemuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Contracts Manager – Commercial Glazing Systems will involve:Contracts Manager position managing the design, fabrication and installation of a range of commercial glazing projects including: aluminium curtain walling, windows & doors Liaise with internal departments on a regular basis to ensure smooth running of projects Producing RAMS and health & safety documentation Ensure that installation is to specification and quality standardEnsure that materials, deliveries and installations are in line with the agreed programmeChecking and authorising payments to subcontractorsAttending pre and post tender meetings as and when requiredCarry out snagging and final sign off Managing projects ranging in value from £10,000 to circa £1,500,000 The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Commercial Glazing Systems experience with:Must have Project Manager/Contract Manager experience within the fenestration market sector Ideally will have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing, structural glazing, windows & doors Must be able to read and interpret technical drawingsFull UK driving license Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent analytical and numerical skillsProactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awarenessMitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, and Construction vacancies positions within: Estimator, Estimates, Estimating, Fenestration, Commercial Glazing, Aluminium Windows, Windows, Doors, Aluminium Doors, Facades, Architectural Glazing, Structural Glazing, Frameless Glazing, Building Envelope, Curtain Walling, Fire Rated Screens, Fire Rated Glazing, Rooflights, Glazing
