CAD Technician - Hybrid - Salary £50K (DOE)

I am seeking a skilled and driven MEP Revit BIM/CAD Technician to join my client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, coordinating, developing, and submitting electronic concept designs, construction, and installation drawings using industry-standard software.


Your tasks will include interpreting and translating electrical and mechanical concept designs into actionable drawings for their in-house CAPS team. You'll collaborate closely with Engineers to produce detailed installation and construction drawings for Project Site Teams.


They're offering a very competitive base salary at the £50K mark (DOE), as well as a Hybrid working arrangement, working three days from home. Furthermore, the standard working hours are 9-5, but they can be flexible with this.


Ideal candidates should have experience in:


  • Creating 3D layout drawings and using CFD modelling software
  • Developing construction and as-built drawings
  • Preparing business support documentation and flow diagrams
  • Producing tender packs, issuing sub-contractor requests, and compiling O&M Manuals
  • Securing third-party contractor quotations for equipment and service
  • Conducting on-site surveys to aid in the preparation of site drawing
