Job Description

Your role will involve meticulously managing outstanding PPM and reactive tasks, ensuring that reports are always current and accurate.


In addition to maintaining up-to-date compliance documentation, you will be responsible for uploading this information onto the required ISS and client-specific portals.


Your leadership in managing all maintenance work carried out by subcontractors will be key to the smooth operation of the estates.


You will also play a crucial role in supporting and advising Service Managers, Prospect Healthcare, and staff, ensuring that all maintenance activities are aligned with the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage compliance for Hard FM Services, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance by subcontractors on mechanical, electrical systems, plant, designated equipment, and building elements/fabric
  • Ensure all compliance documentation is current and uploaded to ISS portals
  • Oversee maintenance work performed by approximately 90 subcontractors, covering services from ventilation to water systems and medical gases
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and manage remedial actions, including pricing, tendering, and execution
  • Liaise between NHS and building owners, ensuring effective communication and coordination
  • Review and approve subcontractor permits, RAMS, and ensure proper PPE usage
  • Build strong relationships with contractors to establish a solid working foundation
  • Raise purchase orders, coordinate subcontractor activities, and ensure work is completed efficiently



Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Eager to learn
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures e.g. preparing KPI, WOR reports
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret complex information in order to interrogate data
  • Good user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word & Excel
