Join a great team at Aspire Defence Services… As the Communications Assistant, you will use your content creation and copywriting skills to maintain our social media channels, internal and external communications.  You’ll understand what it takes to design engaging graphic and video content and be able to maintain content calendars to ensure that there is a steady flow of updates promoting the employer brand. You’ll also have experience in building a following on social media, because you’ll be responsible for moderating social media communities, and ensuring engagement is carried out in line with stipulated community guidelines. You’ll support the management of the end-to-end delivery of each internal campaigns and work with the Client for external campaigns, from ideation through to publication, which means you’ll need to be creative, intuitive, innovative, but most importantly adaptive. You should be able, and willing to train and develop new skills to meet changing needs. But most importantly, as this role is FTC for 12 months covering Maternity Leave, you will be ensuring everything is moving as it should be and maintaining the high standard of work already set out.  But first, meet the team… With a 35-year contract, making soldiers’ lives better is at the heart of everything we do at Aspire Defence Services. Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and A level or above in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to use basic design and editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva Understand Google Analytics and how to monitor key KPIs and metrics targeted at improving the performance of social media campaigns.
