Head of Corporate Partnerships Central London/Hybrid Working Fantastic Opportunity to join a growing charity retailer Salary c£45,000 per annum dependant on experience plus travel expenses and bonus

My client is a well-established, growing charity retailer. They currently have an exciting opportunity to join them in the position of Head of Corporate Partnerships. The Head of Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for leaving and growing the corporatepartnerships function for the charity.

This role reports into the Director of Fundraising and is an excellent opportunity to join a charity that is delivering year on year growth.

Responsibilities :

  • To lead the ongoing development of the corporate partnerships function for the charity.
  • To raise funds from corporate partners to meet annual corporate fundraising targets.
  • To lead the ongoing development of the charities challenge events and community programme, in support of our corporate partnerships and to engage the wider supporter base.
  • Grow the corporate new business pipeline, pitch along with senior colleagues for new high value corporate partnerships which encompass the full corporate fundraising portfolio (employee fundraising, payroll giving, charity of the year, cause-related marketing,sponsorship, etc.)
  • Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view the impact of the organisations funding first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met.
  • Provide excellent leadership and line management to direct reports, ensuring that team members meet their individual objectives, develop and grow in their roles, and are motivated and high performing

Experience required :

  • Minimum three years of experience of corporate fundraising.
  • Proven track record of securing six-figure gifts.
  • Liaising at all levels with the ability to motivate and inspire others to support financially.
  • Experience of designing and delivering high impact stewardship programmes and delivering high value corporate partnership events.
  • Demonstrable success in writing successful funding proposals and reports.
  • Proven experience of devising budgets and project plans and reporting against them.
  • Excellent track record of personally securing significant gifts or partnerships from corporate sources.
  • An effective networker, with an ability to build high level relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Effective time-management with the ability to manage conflicting prioritises to meet planned and unplanned demand, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Understanding and experience of working within the requirements of the Code of Fundraising Practice and data protection legislation.
