Collections Van Driver

The A World UK CIC is a non-profit organisation based in the North of England.

Our aim is to help and support children, young adults, and their families/carers of whom are living with Autism. We aim to be an advocate for Autism and raise awareness within the community, by promoting acceptance and inclusion.

Do you love driving around and keeping yourself busy? If you’re an active and bubbly person looking for a role that gets you out and about meeting people and exploring your local surrounding then come and join our friendly team.

In this role you will collect stock from people’s houses and businesses and deliver them to our Community Retail Stores, in a range of local areas from Salford, Stockport, Burnley, Keighley, Preston and Liverpool. Our 17 stores are located across the North of England and you will be given a route plan to follow, with allocated times. You would need to be physically fit and active for this role due to the lifting and carrying of donation bags in and out of the vehicle.

• It’s good to note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have a full, valid driving licence. _

Key Points :

• 21hrs per week over 3 days
• Must be over 25 years +
• Must hold a Clean valid UK licence
• Must work well as an individual and be able to communicate with all members of staff
• The role will include unloading the previous days collections into the shops then 25 collections of donations. Each day typically will fill a LWB van
• Must be physically fit and no health issues
• Earliest start time would be 8am and the latest finish time could be 7pm.
