We are looking for a Sites Maintenance Officer to join our growing Property Services Team in supporting our services along the south coast of England. Working with our Head of Property Services, Properry Services Technician and our local Service Managers ensure that our properties meet the required specifications; undertake remedial work as designated; and liaise with external contractors on work beyond the scope of general repair and maintenance.

Consensus supports individuals with learning disabilities across the UK in both our Residential and Supported Living services.

Position: Sites Maintenance Officer

Salary: £22,500 per annum + £4,000 Car Allowance (or Company vehicle)

Location: South Coast of England, Littlehampton up to Crawley

Job Role :

  • To operate a planned system of general maintenance and repairs.
  • To ensure the smooth running of all plant machinery and equipment, including safety and state of repair.
  • To carry out decorating and re-decorating as applicable
  • To ensure that the grounds are well maintained and that all approaches to the Home are accessible, neat, tidy and clear of any hazards. To cut grass and hedges as required.
  • To carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard to the Health and Safety of self, colleagues, residents and visitors to the Home.

Person Specification :

  • Related role qualifition preferred.
  • Experience in site and facilities management
  • Ability to organised and prioritise own workload
  • Full clean driving license, enhanced DBS to be completed prior to start(essential)
