Our client is looking for a Health and Safety Environmental Co-Ordinator to join their team in Halesowen, this role rarely comes around and will be filled very quickly, if you are interested please don't hesitate in sending us your details.
The role
- Advise on hazardous materials, environmental issues, and waste management.
- Support on-site visitors and contactors.
- Induct new employees, visitors and contractors on Health and safety and environment systems.
- Review safe systems of work, and carry out inspections to identify unsafe equipment, working conditions, practises, fire hazards and produce reports.
- Carry out audits when required and conduct Health and Safety assessments.
The person
- 2-5 years's experience of working in a similar Health and Safety role, within a production and manufacturing environment.
- IOSH as a minimum
- NEBOSH would be an advantage
- An environmental qualification
- The ability to train,coach,mentor and communicate with others.
- Well organised and professional
- Approachable and easy to work with.
The hours of work will be 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday 1400-2200.
Job Types : Permanent, Full-time
Salary : £36,000.00-£38,400.00 per year
