Run all production on the R&D RTS head in Bristol until Gloucester RTS cell is commissioned. Transition to Gloucester site, taking lessons learned from Bristol to run the RTS cell in Gloucester. Run Gloucester RTS cells in production. Be the first level of technical response for any issues or stoppages on the RTS cells. Work closely with the engineering team to develop and improve the RTS process. Work with the engineering team to develop the maintenance and operating procedures for the RTS cell. Ensure maintenance procedures are meticulously followed. Provide demonstrations to customers on RTS capabilities and operation. Mentor and train junior technicians and production staff on RTS best practice, methodology and processes. What do we need from you? Qualified to HNC level or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment with previous proven technical background. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization. Previous experience operating or maintaining a robot cell preferable. Working knowledge of ISO and TS quality standards preferable. Knowledge of QMS systems in manufacturing preferable. Experience with process optimization, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis techniques preferable. Awareness of data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI) to analyse manufacturing data and performance metrics preferable.
