Job description: Grounds Maintenance Operative – CullomptonOur client requires Grounds Maintenance Operatives to carry out tasks such as strimming, hard and soft landscaping. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and much moreWhat we are looking for: Experience within the grounds maintenance industry (preferred)Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools ( strimmer’s, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.)Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all-weather conditionsGood time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environmentEnthusiasm, good communication skillsGood understanding of health and safetyIdeally have a full, clean driving licenseWill understand and the importance of working as a teamReliable and conscientious with a can-do attitudeA willingness to learnAbility to work on one’s own initiativeCSCS card (preferred) Hours of work:Monday – Friday but there will be some weekend overtime available, paid at premium rates.Rate of Pay £ per hourThese will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from Accrued Holiday Pay from day onePension contributions (after a qualifying period)Weekly PayNo Umbrella payments or feesOnly Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip This is a temporary role, but there is a possibility this could become permanent in the future so
