Food Production Operative- Meat Slicers

We are seeking skilled and dextrous individuals for permanent positions as Meat Slicers in the Slicing Department. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the production of high-quality meat products.

Responsibilities :

• Operate meat slicing machinery with precision and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Meet production targets while maintaining product integrity.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the slicing area.

Requirements :

• Exceptional dexterity and hand-eye coordination, which will be assessed during the recruitment process.
• Comfortable working at a fast pace in a cold environment.
• Previous experience in meat slicing or similar roles is advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Working Patterns : Monday to Friday

• Early Shift: 05:00 - 14:00
• Late Shift: 14:30 - 22:30

Pay Structure : Piece rate pay with a guaranteed minimum top-up to £15 per hour for slicing hours during the training period (up to 12 weeks).
