Job Title: GCSE SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored tutoring in GCSE English and Maths to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Create individualised learning plans to support the academic development of SEN students. Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with SEN coordinators, teachers, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience teaching GCSE English and Maths to students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of SEN students Proficiency in creating and implementing individualised education plans Working Conditions: This role involves working with students with diverse learning needs in their homes.
