Main duties of the job You will deliver high quality care to the housebound patients of Paignton, and work as part of multi-disciplinary team in partnership with primary care and secondary care. Person Specification Qualifications and training Essential Foundation Degree (FdSc in Healthcare Practice (Nursing Associate) Trust induction training Desirable Experience in a Community Setting Knowledge and experience Essential Understand and demonstrate evidence-based practice Understanding of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development Intermediate IT skills Understand and demonstrate the importance of the promotion of health and wellbeing Specific Skills Essential Ability to work independently with a delegated caseload, use initiative whilst understanding limits of scope Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision, and as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to support the development of less experienced staff Requirements due to work environment/conditions Essential Ability to work on own initiative Ability to take part in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities Courteous, respectful and helpful at all times Evidence of time management skills and ability to prioritise Participate in self-appraisal and performance reviews Acts as an excellent role model by upholding and implementing good practice in the workplace.
