HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Reception Class Location: Litherland, L21 Contract Type: Full-time Pay: £12.90-13 per hour Start Date: [06.01.25 A thriving and inclusive primary school committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team in Reception on a full-time basis. They believe in fostering a love of learning from an early age and are looking for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who can adopt this approach.  Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Lead small group interventions and whole-class activities, ensuring that learning objectives are met. Support the social, emotional, and academic development of children in the Reception class, promoting positive behaviour and engagement. Assist with the assessment of children's progress, helping to identify areas where additional support may be needed. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support individual children's learning and development. Provide cover for the class teacher as required, maintaining a safe and effective learning environment. Requirements: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and experience working in an Early Years setting. Ability to lead small groups and manage whole-class activities effectively. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents. A passion for supporting young children's learning and development, with a patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach. Why Join Us?
