Chief Financial Officer - Alliance Homes Bristol / Hybrid c£120k + excellent benefits Full or part time considered* Alliance Homes is a community based social housing provider that makes a positive difference to peoples lives.
They own and manage over 7000 homes primarily across North Somerset but stretch to the surrounding local authority areas of Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and Northeast Somerset and Sedgemoor.Supporting c12,485 customers, they employ c390 colleagues and have an annual turnover of £55m.
As well as providing good quality affordable homes, they also work in partnership with local regional and national agencies to deliver a range of support services to help individuals get the most out of life.
They are now seeking a new Chief Financial Officer to help them to continue to deliver great customer services, build more affordable homes, and plan for their future.
The Chief Finance Officer plays a vital role at Alliance, primarily ensuring that they maximise their success through effective use of resources.
As a member of the Strategic leadership team, you will be an inspirational leader with the ability to think strategically and commercially with a huge curiosity and track record of driving change.
Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, you will actively support their growth agenda and ensure they maximise the return on all their assets, whilst supporting the delivery of high-quality services to their customers.
You will also be key to contributing to corporate decision making be part of the team accountable to the board for the performance and Strategy of the whole group.
This is a broad CFO role where the right candidate will need to demonstrate a wide range of skills and experience and possess sound commercial acumen, providing the executive team with useful financial information, insights and operational analytics to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to bring financial structure, analysis, leadership and detail to the company; and we are seeking a CCAB accountancy qualification (or equivalent) coupled with post qualification experience and experience of operating at a Senior Leadership or Director level role in a financially focused strategic role.
We are open to candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, however ideally, with experience of working in a regulated sector and or property development or asset management.
This a hybrid role and Alliance Homes would be pleased to consider both full and part time candidates as flexibility is at the core of their business.
If part time, then we are seeking a minimum of three days a week.
