Job description : First Call Aviation have fantastic and exciting opportunities for Cargo Warehouse Operatives for one of our prestigious clients based in Gatwick/Crawley Area
The purpose of this role will be to provide and maintain a high level of service and accuracy in the movement of cargo in line with company and airline requirements.
Some of the duties and responsibilities consist of :
- Regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting.
- Using and operating designated equipment to perform the required movement and processing of freight in and around the warehouse whilst adhering to company and airline requirements.
- To understand and execute new working practices deemed necessary by the company, including designated training courses.
- To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- To keep work area clean and tidy maintaining high levels of Health and Safety.
- To achieve the targets and job standards set out by Team Leaders.
- To perform any reasonable request from Team Leaders.
Skills and experience required :
- Forklift Licence - Counterbalance desirable
- Reasonably high standard of numeracy and literacy
- Complying with all relevant legislation as well as stringent airport authority and carrier security requirements is essential.
- Minimum Level CO Security training or capability of undergoing training
- X-Ray Trained or capability of undergoing training.

- 06:00 to 14:00

- From £14 to £15 per hour
