Aside from being hardworking and forward-thinking, there are a few more requirements to make sure you are the right fit for this role: Currently serving as an Assistant Store Manager or an experienced Supervisor with a background in retail or a related field. Full Driving License. Strong passion for personal and professional growth. Proven experience in stock management, including hands-on replenishment, conducting stock counts, and handling booking-in processes. Demonstrated supervisory skills and/or previous experience managing a small team. As Duty Manager you will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to oversee the cover of the store in their absence, supervising 8 key staff members and helping to achieve sales and targets, alongside excellent customer service delivery. A typical day in this role includes: Managing People: Recruit, train, and manage staff while communicating goals and addressing performance. Store Operations: Ensure smooth store operations, including security, procedures, and stock management. Customer Service: Maintain high customer service standards and handle feedback and complaints. Sales / Business Development: Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities. General Responsibilities: Adhere to Company policies, promote values, and focus on continuous improvement.
