Salary :£19,695.00 - £30,000.00 per year( (£10.10ph rising to £10.90 in April)

Living wage foundation :We pay the actual living wage

Hours : Flexible hours with various shifts available including days, nights, waking nights, evenings and weekends. 4 hours to 12 hours shifts available.

Contract :16 hour-20 hours, or 37.5 hours contract

Location : Cardiff and Surrounding area's.

Touchstone Support Services are a sector-leading provider of specialist support for Children, Young Adults, and Families within their own homes to live as independently as possible. Our primary aim is to provide safe environments that encourages individuality, self-confidence, self-esteem and improve and maintain the quality of life by nurturing and promoting independence through our person-centred approach. We specialise in providing support for children and Young People who may have Learning Disabilities, challenging behaviours, Autism or ADHD. They may also have suffered neglect, trauma, sexual exploitation, or other types of domestic abuse.

The role :

  • Provide the highest quality of Support, ensuring every individual can achieve and exceed their personal outcomes.
  • Promote individuals’ independence by supporting with a wide range of educational, social, and work-based activities in line with personal plans both within the service and in the community.
  • Provide support with domestic tasks as and when necessary whilst promoting independence.
  • Work Collaboratively with individuals, families, and external partner organisations to ensure that support is personalised to meet individual needs.
  • Proactively safeguard and protect the individuals and ensure the safety and well-being of all the individuals we support.

Qualifications and knowledge :

  • QCF level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
  • Support work experience is desirable for this role, along with life experiences.
