Job specification: -            Job role: Teaching Assistant -            Start date: ASAP -            Full time 8:30am – 3:30pm (Mon – Fri) -            £384.60 - £450 per week -            Temporary to permanent contract -            Location: Waterlooville  Do you enjoy working in an environment filled with laughter and joy? GSL Education are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join one of our vibrant schools in Waterlooville. You will be working with children in Key Stage 3 and 4 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as other complex needs. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who enjoy putting the children at the heart of everything that they do. This school also prioritises a high staff to student ratio to ensure that every student has the opportunity to develop their abilities. A suitable candidate will have experience working with children who have complex learning difficulties and have a positive personality.    As a Teaching Assistant, your roles may include: -            Working with small groups of pupils under the guidance of a teacher. -            Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and communication skills. -            Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils. -            Working with Key stage 3 and 4 aged pupils.
