Class Teacher with Maths Subject Lead (Maternity Cover) Start Date:  December 2024 Contract:  Fixed Term – 1 Year (Maternity Cover) Location:  Bootle (L30) Salary:  M1-M6 We are seeking a passionate and committed Class Teacher with additional responsibility for leading Maths across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join our vibrant and welcoming team. The role is to cover maternity leave, starting in December 2024, for a period of one year. About the Role: As the class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a class of enthusiastic and motivated pupils. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will take on the Science Subject Lead role, where you will: Lead and develop the Science curriculum across the school. Support colleagues in delivering engaging and effective Science lessons. Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning in Science. Organise and promote Science activities, including events such as Science Week. The Successful Candidate Will: Be an experienced and inspirational teacher with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum. Have a passion for Science and a track record of delivering engaging lessons. Be confident in leading and supporting staff in developing their practice. Be committed to raising standards and ensuring that every child reaches their potential. Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
