Event Sales Executive – Mercedes-Benz World Absolute Taste is a leadingevent catering company for world-renowned green field events and performancesports, along with a strong presence in catering venues within retail. The Role: You will be representingMercedes-Benz World onsite, Sales Executives are based in the officeMonday-Friday and office open hours are 08:00 -17:30 – subject to businessdemands. Therole will involve daily communication with clients and internal team membersover email, over the phone and in person on site visits where you are expectedto deliver an excellent level of customer service. Key Responsibilities: · Dealing withincoming sales enquiries via our website, over the phone or through our Third partylistings. · Receiving client’srequirements and presenting bespoke proposals to suit their event needs. · Manage event diaryto strategically sell event spaces and activities on the venues booking system. · Manage prospectopportunities, ensuring that they are followed up with and closed effectively, withinnecessary timeframe. · Negotiate withclients to ensure we convert enquiries to profitable and successful events. · Effectively handoverfrom sales to one of the team’s event coordinators, ensuring all details arepassed over correctly. · Communicatecompany policies and processes to clients effectively so they are aware of anyrestrictions prior to agreeing to their event contract. · Maintain anddevelop relationships with existing clients to prospect new business. · Bring in newbusiness through pro-active sales including networking, site visits, calls andtrade shows. · Manage yoursales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets in line with KPI’s. · Attend teammeetings and come up with new ideas on how to generate new business leads andincrease sales. · Host sitevisits and FAM trips at the venue to potential new clients. · Review lostbusiness and touching base with these clients. · Reviewforecasts and highlighting risks and opportunities. Key Skills: · Desire anddrive to sell events passionately · Excellentcommunication skills both written and oral · Positive,confident and determined approach · Negotiationskills · High attentionto detail · Ability to workunder pressure to meet deadlines and sales targets · Excellentorganisation skills · Excellentpersonal presentation · Resilience andthe ability to cope with rejection · IT Skills inMicrosoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Previous experience in anevent sales environment is preferred for this role. On Offer: The salary will be £25,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
