Teaching Assistant - West Molesey Location: South East England, Surrey, West Molesey Job Duties: Supporting students 1:1 in the classroom environment Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing individualised education plans Providing emotional support and encouragement to students Helping students develop coping strategies and self-regulation skills Collaborating with other school staff and mental health professionals to create a supportive environment Required Qualifications/Experience: Experience working with people with mental health needs Knowledge of safeguarding procedures Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of mental health issues affecting young people Ability to provide emotional support and create a safe learning environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures Working Conditions: The role involves working in a classroom setting within a very small school environment. Part-time hours are expected, with a focus on supporting students with mental health challenges. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
