Closing date for job applications is Monday 9th SeptemberPortfolio Analyst (Transformation / Change)Salary: London – circa £70,000 / National – circa £60,000Supporting an ambitious and complex strategic agenda, we have an outstanding opportunity for Portfolio Analysts to join our Insurance, Wealth & Retirement (IWR) team. Portfolio Analysts support the delivery of change across IWR by providing reporting and analytics services.This is an excellent job for someone who thrives by supporting others, has an eye for quality and can analyse, extrapolate, and report on complex data!A bit about the job:There are two pathways for this role; 1) allocated to a specific business portfolio or 2) allocated to support the totality of IWR’s agenda which is likely to have a deeper but narrower focus on specific activities. However, the core tasks will remain relatively consistent, including:Support programmes and our business with transformation mechanics and processes such as governanceDelivery of high-quality reporting, analytics and associated insight to applicable collaboratorsSupport stakeholders ensure the quality of information with regards to transformation is exceptional and provide guidance on good practice/standardsMaintain close oversight of cost and benefit data across IWR programmesUtilise data or programme health checks to establish if IWR programmes are following applicable standards and best practiceThe role holder is focused on the successful delivery of IWR’s transformation agenda so will necessarily need to act flexibly in order to respond to varying demands across the year.Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time (50%) working in an office, and this role can be based from any of our UK sites.Skills and experience we’re looking for:Change management experience either from a delivery or portfolio management background.High attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication.Proven analytical skills.Numerical and strong in tools such as Excel.What you’ll get for this role:Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
