Role Overview; 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving strategic initiatives and transforming business processes to enhance our operational efficiency, operational resilience and crucially the customer experience.


You'll be flexible in your approach and comfortable in undertaking a broad range of activities. This means not limiting your time and focus on one element of your role. You'll thrive on the variety this gives you and take satisfaction for operating in a multi-skilled, multi-product environment. And you'll be a driving force for new ideas on improving processes and exceeding customer expectations. 


What you’ll do

  • Work for a new to market Bank start up that utilises best in class cloud based technology to support great people in facilitating excellent customer outcomes.
  • Be on the ground floor of analysing new requirements as well as progressing new change for a fast paced ever evolving environment not restrained by legacy systems, clunky processes or over-complex architecture.
  • Provide support to the Bank’s Operations Team in executing the Bank’s Change Strategy to time, cost and quality.
  • Provide a pivotal link between the frontline business teams and information technology development teams to facilitate effective design, development, delivery and management of communications.  
  • To support the link between current and future business models by supporting the design and building out of the business architecture. This will include changes to business processes, systems / technology, and organisation structures.
  • Be at the forefront of new banking innovations such as the application of artificial intelligence to enhance the customer experience as well as internal machine learning and reporting capabilities.
  • To ensure Change deliverables are aligned to the requirements of the Business vision and strategy. 
  • To facilitate collaboration with all stakeholders to support design, build, test and release. 
  • Following processes and guidelines that fall in line with the company and FCA / PRA regulations.
  • Staying up to date regarding a company’s products, services and policies.


About you

  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes; able to help us deliver on our purpose of for people, for business and for the communities we work in.

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a business analyst, change analyst or equivalent required for this role.
  • Previous financial services background is preferable.
  • A real positive if you have previous experience working with commercial lending products.
  • The ability to listen and communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders and people from a “non-change” background to truly understand their requirements, needs and anticipated / desired outcomes.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • The ability to deal with a varying range of tasks and manage priorities accordingly.
  • Proven experience working as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skill.
  • Efficient administrative skills.
  • Competent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A proactive attitude, and enthusiastic.


What you’ll get in return

  • Up to £45,000 base salary depending on experience.
  • 28 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • Full time office based – East Kilbride with onsite free parking.
