Job DescriptionWe are looking for a kind and compassionate live-in carer to support a couple who lives in central London in the Pimlico/Victoria area.Robert and Mary are both 88 and love their life and their flat in Westminster, but Mary needs some medical help and Robert has Alzheimer's. The placement starts towards the end of May with some flexibility on the starting date based on the candidate's availabilities and will be on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off basis or 3 weeks on 1 week off.QualificationsAs a Live-in Care Professional, you will be required to provide the highest quality 24-hour care.You will be responsible for delivering your client's personalised care plan and health goals, enabling clients to live life to the full in their own homes.You will manage the Client’s medical condition, meals, hygiene and ensure their safety at all times.You will maintain a positive relationship with your client, their family, friends and those supporting their health and well-being and be trustworthy and compassionate.Some of your duties as a Live-in Care Professional:Providing companionship and supportive listening,Preparing meals,Responding to emergency situations,Prompting and administering medication,Accompanying and transporting patients to appointments and/or social events,Facilitating community and recreational outings,Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activitiAdditional InformationAs a Live In Carer, you will be provided with an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.
