The role in short

Support the Shift Leader to accurately book in and control all Goods-In deliveries.

Starting rate is £12.00 per hour increasing to £14.50 per hour with stepped increases 37.5, 40 or 42.5 hour contracts available : 37.5 hours: working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday 40 hours: working hours 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday 42.5 hours: Working hours 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

Onto the nitty gritty!

Assess the scheduled deliveries each day and assist the Inbound Logistics Supervisor in organising the workload

Unload and receive deliveries, usually using a forklift truck

Checking all invoices to ensure they correspond with the delivered stock; raising discrepancies as per Company procedure

Replenish stock locations with receipted products

Accurately book stock into our inventory system

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, ensuring that all health and safety procedures and guidelines are followed

We’d like to meet someone with

Counterbalance forklift licence required

Bendi forklift licence preferred but not essential (training can be provided)

Good written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail, especially when working in high pressured environments

Ability to follow set daily routines

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Is reliable and can work cooperatively in a team to meet daily demands

Flexible in attitude to working hours
