Job description:DomesticMidlands Salary - £20,905- £22,041 per annum - depending on skills and experience Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time (35 hours per week) Closing Date - 29 May2024 Interview Date - TBC About the role We are currently recruiting for a permanent Domestic based in West Brom. This location will be temporaryuntil we move to Brindley Place, Birmingham. You must ensure that our schemes are cleaned and maintained to a high standard; to assist the Housing Officer as required (eg. Zero tolerance & reporting repairs); to be a visible staff presence on the schemes and a point of contact for residents. You will be required to clean all internal communal areas as directed by the Estates Contracts Manager, to include: corridors, communal lounges and kitchens, internal doors, bin stores, laundry rooms. You will be required to keep external areas clean and free from litter (courtyards, paths, porches, stairs, landings, walkways) as required. Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer. About you You will need a UK Driving licence. You must have awareness of health and safety issues. You will need to have previous experience of cleaning/domestic duties. You must be reliable, honest, and trustworthy and have a friendly, approachable nature and caring attitude. You will need to be self-motivated with an attention to detail. You must have a willingness to help and flexibility and be able to work as part of a team or alone. Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role.
