Bank Support Worker

Are you looking for flexible hours to work around your personal lifestyle?

You have the opportunity to help individuals who require additional support in their life, whether that's a younger person, an adult, or even their families. Nothing or no-one is too complicated for our fantastic team of professionals, and we are particularly good at working with clients who are very specific about how they like and need to be supported.

Our aim is to allow our service users to live as fulfilling a life as possible, with a large focus on promoting each individual's independence. Our clients can be affected by things in different ways, with a number of service users in need of physical assistance due to disabilities, whilst others may benefit from mental health support as they look to live more independently within their own homes. Either way, we always have a structured plan in place to achieve the best possible results.

For this support worker role specifically, we are looking for you to aid a young man with autism. You will be responsible for carrying out general household maintenance duties and assisting with day-to-day living tasks. There is also scope for supporting our client with meal preparation and administering medication.

This young man does like to get and about, and we strongly promote recreational outings for each of our service users. With this in mind, you will be given the opportunity to take trips with a vehicle provided and head out to explore the local community in the form of daily walks.

We are currently offering a range of shift options and flexible work patters, that will allow you to fit your work around your personal commitments. We appreciate that work is not the be all and end all, so, the last thing we want is our staff to have poor work life balance. We have both part & full-time positions available, with shift options as per below:

  • 8.30am - 8.30pm
  • Sleepover 9am - 9am

Due to the responsibilities within this role, we do require you to have at 6 months experience within either a care or support position. So, if this sounds like the right position for you, simply click APPLY NOW, or alternatively, you can give Ashleigh a call on 0141 261 9293 to discuss in more detail.

Oh, one last thing to make sure you will be the right fit...

We asked our team why they enjoy working for Trust Care and found we share key values. If these are values you care about, you can be sure you'll fit in just fine!

  • Respect and dignity - Our staff are amazing, and we want to make sure that never changes. With that in mind, we provide the best training & support possible to keep them at their best.
  • Caring and Friendly - We care about our staff as much as we want our staff to care about our clients. We believe having this relationship in place is crucial, so our staff can feel at ease when caring for others.
  • Experienced - Due to our professionalism, this is a risk-free environment. We never put our staff/clients in a position that we wouldn't put ourselves in.
  • Reliable - You are a care professional, so we treat you as such. You don't need to be concerned about future work or problems with pay, we've got your back. We want you to focus on what you do best.
  • Passionate & Active Listeners - We encourage our staff to talk to us. If you ever have a concern or problem, we want to be the ones to help you solve it. Happy staff makes for happy clients.
