Are you an organised individual with an eye for detail? As a Commercial Assistant, you will play a pivotal role within our commercial team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide commercial and contractual advice and support to the wider business, ensuring that our risks are minimised, and our commercial position is maximised. In this role, you will gain a thorough understanding of the PFI Contract and work closely with performance analysts to deliver efficient performance and unavailability reporting. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare commercial responses, including change submissions and compensation events, ensuring all contractual risks are identified and mitigated, obligations are met, and entitlements are enhanced. Additionally, you will liaise with garrison teams to provide commercial support and assist in the administration of the contract insurance process, conducting investigations as required. Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the supply chain, will be crucial. You will also provide contractual and commercial input and assistance in the bidding process for external third-party works, attend meetings with the Authority and third-party clients, and assist in the provision of commercial reports, including those required for business performance reporting. Furthermore, you will help manage and report on internal key metrics and undertake any related tasks requested by the Head of Commercial. It is essential to be educated to A-Level/HNC or equivalent standard. As well as hold at least two years of experience in a business administration role or similar commercial/environment role; preferable in PFI and/or public sector service FM contracts. It is also key to have good working knowledge of Office 365 Word and Excel. A strong skill set encompassing good verbal and written communication skills, numeracy and IT skills, as well as the ability to plan and prioritise activities are needed in this role. Salary: up to £31,600 depending on experience  Location: Tidworth  Please note: Our garrisons are tobacco free working environments.
