Behaviour MentorLocation: WolverhamptonSalary: £ - £ per hourBenefits: On site parking, birthdays off, well-being days, in-house & national accredited training to enhance development for ECT's & experienced teachers, dedicated counselling service a well established school.Protocol Education are looking to recruit Behaviour Mentor's with experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour.Some children struggle with social and emotional needs that can manifest in difficulties controlling their behaviour. A Behaviour Mentor works with pupils to develop better norms of behaviour. Previous experience working with children is essential.The ideal educator must be energetic, enthusiastic and be able to work using your own initiative. The role will be working with children on a 1:1 or group basis, across the primary age range. Over time, you will build up a supportive working relationship with pupils so that you can act as a mentor and role model, ultimately improving overall attainment.Full time and part time positions are available.The Role:Assisting with identifying pupils in need of supportConducting one-to-one mentoring sessions with identified pupilsDevelop strategies for pupils to better manage their behaviourDrawing up action plans for learnersLiaising with SENCosKeeping track of pupil progress and monitoring behaviourOrganising lunchtime activities for pupils who display challenging behaviour during breaksSupporting liaisons with familiesIf this sounds like a good role for you please get in touch! All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
