ABC Teachers are looking for a passionate Chemistry Teacher to join their teaching team in the Stourbridge area About the role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic Science department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students at Key Stages 3 and 4 You will play a crucial role in inspiring students, fostering a love for the subject, and helping them achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3, and 4Develop and implement comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments in line with the curriculum.Monitor and support the overall academic progress and development of students.Provide constructive and timely feedback to students to aid their understanding and progress.Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the teaching and learning experience.Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest educational trends and subject knowledge.Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extra-curricular activities and events.Requirements:A degree in Chemistry or a related field.Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stages 3, 4, is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
