Job DescriptionASIC Design EngineerCambridge This is a Unique opportunity to join a new company embarking on their UK journey.
With offices in the USA, this company are now seeking a talented and experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join their team to be based in Cambridge in their growing UK office.
The role requires a deep understanding of Chip design, IP block design, and ideally an understanding of security.
The ASIC Design Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the development of open-source silicon and implementing security features in ASIC designs.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with the engineering team to develop and implement secure IP and micro-architecture designsWorks on ASIC design and verification using OpenTitan and open-source silicon methodologiesDevelops and integrates security features into ASIC designs to meet industry standardsCollaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completionContributes to the development and improvement of ASIC security best practices and processesQualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldProven experience in ASIC design, IP block design, and micro-architectureStrong knowledge of security principles and implementation in ASIC designsExperience with OpenTitan and open-source silicon is highly preferredFamiliarity with industry-standard security protocols and best practicesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesDay-to-DayCollaborating with the engineering team to design and implement secure IP and micro-architectureParticipating in ASIC design and verification using OpenTitan and open-source silicon methodologiesIntegrating security features into ASIC designs and contributing to security best practicesEngaging with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to industry standardsContributing to the continuous improvement of ASIC security processes and practicesYou must have UK working rights.
