We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our team in a new luxury care home. You will support the growth of the home and assist with welcoming new team members and residents.

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure our computer systems are maintained via Microsoft Office.
  • Deal with potential resident queries efficiently and process pre-admission, admission and discharge documents etc
  • Develop and maintain good filing systems.
  • Take the lead on maintaining Coolcare systems
  • Deal with mail, scanning, stationery, photocopying and other office tasks.
  • Answer and follow up on enquiries about our Home.
  • Book medical appointments for residents and liaise with relatives
  • Make sure that our orders from suppliers are received and correct.
  • Support the centralised sales, purchase ledger, finance and payroll input systems.
  • You’ll manage each resident’s personal float and our petty cash
  • Carry out monthly cheque, banking and cash book analysis

The role requires effective communication with exceptional interpersonal skills. The ability to develop professional relationships with prospective customers, employees, suppliers and professionals. The ability to work as part of the team is vital. Team members must be aligned with and support the company’s values - compassion, thoughtfulness, integrity and excellence - at all times.

Person specification: Care home experience is not essential but is desirable.

Excellent numeric and literacy skills.

Experience of working with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Sage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Present a compassionate and professional image at all times.

Well-organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Team player.

Reliable and punctual.

Genuine interest in working with a caring environment.

Experience of line management is desirable.

Business Administration or Management experience is desirable.

Annual leave: 28 days per annum

Sick pay: Statutory
