Cyber Security Lead Cirencester - Fully Remote £50,000 - £60,00 + benefits

Fantastic new permanent opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Specialist with this specialist financial services business based in Cirencester.

Responsibilities :

• Lead on defining and improving the cyber security posture.
• Ensure that hardware and software management standards for network, servers, databases, wireless technology, file & print services, laptops, mobiles etc provide for cyber security requirements.
• Own the IT DR rehearsal timetable ensuring that the business is operationally resilient to any cyber-attack that may occur.
• Assume the role of Security Incident Manager, providing co-ordination between the resolving teams and reporting to the Head of IT.
• Review the business's processes and procedures for Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, and IT Disaster Recovery.
• Ensure the Cyber Security of the business's infrastructure, including all business systems and data regardless of how they are hosted.
• Articulate the importance of Cyber Security resilience to internal and external service delivery teams.

Skills Required :

• Proven previous experience within a similar Cyber Security Lead or Cyber Security Specialist position.
• Experience of interpreting highly technical detail, being able to spot the security gaps at the design stage and working with the business and IT colleagues to come up with secure solutions.
• Knowledge and skills in supplier management, having assessed suppliers using a supplier assurance framework, such as the Cloud Security Alliance's Cloud Controls Matrix, ISO27001, NIST etc.
• Experience of managing cyber security resilience.
• Ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure that deadlines and targets are met.
• Technical security experience with some of the following.
• o Amazon Web Services
• o Securing Microsoft Server Operating systems / Linux & Modern Desktop
• o Securing Microsoft 365 with Exchange, Sharepoint & OneDrive on-line
• o Active Directory (On-Prem and Azure AD)
• o Threat detection (Nessus Tenable)
• o SIEM event log gathering and analysis (Splunk)
