Job Description As a Live-in Care Professional you have the unique privilege of being accepted into a clients home, providing one to one personalised care. All of our Live-in Care placements are situated within historical market towns such as Beverley and Pocklington surrounded by beautiful countryside and scenery. We are looking for a female carer  to support a long-standing female client of ours living at home recovering from a recent stroke.  Location:  Beverley, a beautiful market town, known for historic buildings including the Beverley Minister and home to over 400 acres of greenery known as The Beverley Westwood. Beverley has a vibrant high-street with a variety of shops, cafe's and restaurants making running errands for your client both easy and enjoyable.  Shift Pattern:  2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off  Salary:  £840 per working week Start Date : ASAP Placement requirements:  A female, non-smoker. The Role:  To provide practical assistance and emotional support to a female client recovering from a recent stroke. Like many of us, this lady finds comfort in her routine and it's important the successful Care Professional helps her to achieve this with prompts. Mobilising with a zimmer frame, although speedy, she does need guidance due to poor vision as a result of the stroke.  Support the client to keep the house clean and tidy.  As mentioned this lady benefits from a routine and likes things 'just right' and a tidy house is no exception Prepare meals with the client.  Although she no longer cooks for herself, she still loves her food but insists 'nothing fancy'. She needs support with feeding as the stroke has affected her ability to use cutlery, although with your support it is hoped this is something she can regain. Support the client with personal care.  Ensuring the lady is safe, happy and feels 'ready' to take on another day Your Accommodation:  Our client lives in a lovely 2 bedroom bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac   where you will have your own bedroom.
